Karlskron – Environmental reports and CO2-balance sheets are increasingly being taken into consideration when making a purchasing decision. Tranports are mostly CO2 intense and can deteriorate the balance sheet of the final product. Thus the SCHERM Group offers its clients CO2-neutral transport solutions.
With the support and help of a partner cooperation that implements climate protection projects all over the world, we can compensate CO2-emissions caused by the volume of heavy transport. In order to react quickly to increasing demands for environmentally friendly transportation, we have 1,000 tons of CO2-equivalents in reserve that can be used for our customers.
1,000 tons CO2-equivalents
By using the CO2-equivalents, the SCHERM Group supports the climate protection project „Wind energy in Tamil Nadu“in India and by doing so, makes a contribution to climate protection.
With an overall performance of 460 MW, the wind farm TASMA II compensates 760,000 t CO2 every year. The project has been realized in cooperation with TÜV Süd, the UN environmental organization UNFCCC and ARKTIK GmbH.
About ARKTIKARKTIK carries out climate protection projects that are linked to independent quality standards which were established and developed by famous organizations like WWF. These certifications are only given to projects that can verify a reduction in greenhouse gases and simultaneously are good for the local environment and the social concerns of the people living near the location of the project.
